Nov. 20, 2009 Arvel Bird– was raised in Utah and is of Southern Piute and Scottish mixed blood ancestry. His world-class classical violin training and his ancestry are the inspiration for his unique music style. He was named 2007 NAMA Artist of the year and 2006 Best Native American Male Performer. His CD Animal Totems received 2007 Canadian Aboriginal Music Award winner for Best Instrumental Album. Arvel is widely regarded as one of the hottest Native American artists on tour today. |
